Congratulations, 5th graders!

Our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to Ms. Selvy and Mrs. Jinzo for planning the wonderful event, Ms. Ng and Mrs. dela Cruz for livestreaming on Instagram and capturing the day for everyone, Ms. Jures for taking photos for all the families, our historian – Tammy Sun – for creating this wonderful program and keepsake for the 5th graders, Trina Chinn-Milo for taking care of the beautiful t-shirts, Mike Honrada for the Spotify playlist for the promotion and to Mr. Phil, Mrs. Ippy and our noon supes for putting together all the decorations for the event. Last but not least, thank you to all our Skyline teachers for being there to cheer our 5th graders on and constantly being a pillar of support to all our students.

We bid farewell to Dr. Nagy as she will be leaving Skyline Elementary this year. Thank you for supporting our PTA and we wish you all the best in what the future holds for you!

Our new principal – Mrs. Daniel-Libman!

Last night, the SSFUSD school board announced our new principal – Mrs. Luann Daniel-Libman! Mrs. Daniel-Libman has been with our school for quite awhile as the Reading Specialist. She has also stepped in to help fill in for Dr. Nagy when she was unavailable and has already been a support to all our teachers. We are excited that she will be taking over the reigns and leading our school.

Thank you to all our Skyline families for their help and support this year! It is incredible that we had a whole year of distance learning. Even with that, we were still able to do so much. We cannot wait to be back in the school next school year. We wish you all a fun, relaxing summer! Please continue to stay safe and healthy! Take care!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!!

Thank you to our Skyline teachers for all their hard work and dedication this year! We are so fortunate to have a group of teachers at our school that are caring, inspirational and patient. They have truly “gone the distance’ for us this year. They have been there for all our children even if they can’t physically be together. We appreciate you!

Thank you to all our students as well for their beautiful cards! They’ll be given to your teachers on Wednesday!

Welcome back Skyhawks for In person learning

Today, families that signed up for the optional in person learning are back to school! PTA appreciates our teachers and faculty that are working hard to keep our children safe, but also giving them an opportunity to be back in the classroom. Thank you for your dedication! Please remind your children to listen to their teachers, respect the rules and to stay within their cohorts. Stay safe Skyhawks!

Teacher Appreciation Cards

Teacher Appreciation Week is coming May 3 – May 7! Our Skyline Elementary Teachers have gone the distance for us this year! Let them know how thankful you are! Print out one of the designs below to decorate and write a special message inside for your teacher. You can also create your own card/drawing!

When you’re done, bring it to the school (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, 9-3pm) and drop it off in the card box outside of the front office.

If you aren’t able to come by the school, have your child make a Google slide instead with a special thank you message for your teacher. Email it to us as a PDF at skylineptadc@gmail.com.

Make as many as you’d like – the more the merrier! Think about making one for your past teachers, the front office, and our librarian! They’ve all worked so hard for our students this year and deserve to be recognized.

Help us in showing our teachers how much we appreciate them! Deadline is April 28!

Ribbon/Candy Leis for 5th grade Graduation

Skyline PTA will be selling handmade ribbon and candy leis for your 5th grade graduates to wear on graduation day! Leis are $10 each and we will be taking orders from April 12 to April 23. Print out the form below. Fill it out completely and drop it off with payment to the front office (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9-3pm).
